My name is Mike O’Brien, and I am the Owner and Head Coach of Golden Gloves Kickboxing & Fitness Academy, located in Listowel Business Park, beside Manor West Hotel & Leisure Club.
With a strong background in kickboxing, combat sports, and functional fitness, I specialize in helping clients build strength, confidence, discipline, and real-world fitness. My coaching approach combines technical kickboxing skills with structured strength and conditioning, ensuring safe, effective, and goal-oriented training for all levels.
At Golden Gloves, I work with beginners, advanced athletes, and competitive fighters, as well as clients who simply want to improve their fitness, lose weight, and feel stronger both physically and mentally. As Head Coach, I focus on correct technique, progressive training, and creating a motivating environment where every athlete can grow.
